Doug served n the US Army Special Forces 1965-1969 stateside and Vietnam (a 100 pounds lighter). Seven awards and citations including the Bronze Star.
MBA 1972; then owned and operated commercial building construction business in Kennebunkport Maine for 22 years, severing on the President's Council for Commercial Construction, and on the Executive Committee of the Great Boston Chamber of Commerce.
Moved back West to Washington and Montana; raised cattle, horses and American bison (buffalo), 1994 to the present, with many trips to Costa Rica.
Karen was born, raised and educated in Santa Barbara, California. She has been involved in the culinary industry for many years. Her speciality is working in the film industry as a Chef as well as a Food Stylist for the movies.
In addition to operating the Bison ranch, Karen also owns and operates Tulips, providing personal chef services, catering, and in home culinary classes.
